the car off, then turn the key to full dash lights, unplug the TPS connector (the gray one) harness for about 5 sec, then re-plug, turn key off then start car and all well until the next time. Don't recall where I came across this TPS reset but it works every time the TPS goes rogue which it does not do often. If still having issues do the TPS trouble shooting in the Manual section EF&EC Diagnostic procedure 34 Should not have to add vac leak to correct With storage IMO not good to start the car and idle better to drive enough to get oil temp up and evaporate most of the water produced during combustion.
